Bridgewater Bed & Breakfast

We had a lovely six-night stay at Bridgewater from the 14 December to the 20th. Pat & Lynne were wonderful hosts, friendly and always helpful. Breakfast was fantastic, with plenty of cereal, yogurts and fruit salad, plus toast and an English breakfast, served in a large room overlooking the lagoon. The B&B is right on the main street into Knysna, and the grounds are beautiful, well kept and secured by a remote controlled gate. We were comfortable leaving the car there, and there were always plenty of parking spots. There’s also a nice pool with chairs and deck chairs at the front. Our room was at the front left of the house, but we didn’t notice much noise and slept with the windows open each night. It was large, with a lovely big bathroom and both a bath and shower, and it was cleaned to a high standard every day. My Mom had a large room at the back with its own bathroom. The front rooms and dining room have lovely views of the Knysna heads, and the property is right across the road from the Knysna lagoon. Prices were great, even at Christmas. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Bridgewater.
