We stayed for two nights in the penthouse. It was neat and had everything we needed, and we loved how much thought had gone into the decor. From the deck, the views over Knysna were out of this world. The hostess welcomed us with so much warmth and care and made us feel at home. Definitely coming back again.

We spent a week at Mount Joy Penthouse in Knysna, and the host made things easy throughout. They were quick to respond, helpful and genuinely accommodating, handling every little question or request right away and without fuss. The unit itself is spacious, spotless and thoughtfully put together, with proper comfort and privacy. The views across Knysna are ridiculous in the best way, especially at sunrise and sunset. You can tell the owners didn't cut corners. Highly recommended, we'll be back.

The fisherman theme gives the place a real holiday feel, like relaxing in a seaside village. I'm still amazed by the atmosphere, and the amenities are high quality. Even the bathroom mirror was something I'd never come across before. Mr and Mrs Bernardo welcomed us warmly and were so kind. Great value for money. I've finally found my halfway stopover on the way from Cape Town to P.E.

Dead rats hanging from the ceiling, and a neighbor's kid was pooping into a bucket in full view. Very disappointed.
