The view over greenery towards the Knysna hills was lovely, and those chocolate chip cookies were a great extra. Ockert made a real effort to keep me comfortable, with clear, helpful communication. The room was generous in size, the beds were comfortable, and everything worked. The kitchen had all I needed. This accommodation is worth every cent, and I’d recommend it highly.

The apartment was spotless, roomy, and in a quiet, safe area. We had booked a standard room, but the friendly owner upgraded us for free to an apartment with a deck. She also helped us with restaurant and activity recommendations. Breakfast was very good, with fresh fruit, joghurt, eggs, and toast. The doors weren't even locked at night. We’d happily stay here again.

Caroline was pleasant and helpful, and gave us great tips for local places to eat and drink and things to do. Our bright, airy room was spotless and nicely decorated, with an equally lovely en-suite. The pretty establishment is on Leisure Island, a short distance from Knysna and East Head. All in all, excellent.

It was a pleasure staying here, and we found it good value. The setting is quiet and private, surrounded by plenty of trees and vegetation, with lots of bird life. Caroline was a very helpful host, and the accommodation was well organised. We’ll return. Ivor and Judy Biggs.

Rivertide Lodge on Leisure lsle was a lovely place to stay. It’s a great spot, neat and tidy, with a friendly hostess and a nice space to unwind.
