Number eleven had everything we needed for entertaining, and the staff were phenomenal. The views were breathtaking, and every part of the villa turned out better than we expected. My family had a wonderful time at under the Milkwood chalets. It was just the break we needed during our garden route adventure.

The log chalets have a smell I really love, and staying here felt like such a treat. We had a great holiday in this idyllic part of Knysna. Donné was especially friendly and helpful, and you can take the kayaks out whenever you like. Our clean unit had everything we needed. Definitely a place to stay if you’re in Knysna.

The kitchen facilities were great, and I appreciated being able to use a kayak or paddle board for free. They brought fresh firewood every day, and the staff were helpful and friendly. But for the price, I expected more. The cabin walls are so thin that you hear neighbors opening car doors, or even their kids farting, and it can wake you up. These were the worst beds I’ve slept on in all my travels abroad. The houses are packed close together, and parking is tight if you have a big SUV. When I drained the bathtub, the toilet started bubbling and smelling bad.

We spent my birthday here, and the staff even left a gift on the counter. Such a thoughtful touch. The cabins are right by the beach and have a really chilled feel. We went canoeing early in the morning, and there are amazing restaurants within walking distance. The cabins, the staff, and the location were all just amazing.
