The rooms were clean and so comfortable, and the hosts were friendly. It’s such a peaceful lodge, a lovely place to spend a few quiet days. Breakfast was absolutely delicious too. We’ll definitely come back. Dedrei is a sweetheart, thank you for a lovely stay.

Marion and Gavin made our stay in Knysna so enjoyable, with plenty of guidance about the area and local activities. The accommodation was relaxed and comfortable, and breakfast was cooked to order and delicious. Thank you both!

The waterfront restaurants are close by, which makes the location ideal. The place itself is peaceful and quaint, with very kind staff. Rooms have balconies where you can enjoy lovely sunset views across the water.

Breakfast was delicious and served with care, and the rooms had a wonderful view. We were welcomed so warmly by the lovely, kind owner of Waterfront Lodge and treated so well that we felt at home. What a beautiful place and a wonderful experience. We were lucky to spend even one night there, and only wished we could have stayed longer. It was a house full of love where we could truly rest and relax.

Such a disappointment. I'd booked for a water polo tour, but it was cancelled because of water restrictions in town. The owners showed no compassion and refused to refund my money. Now I have neither the tour nor my money.
