I was first booked at LeGrant, but apparently they were full and sent me to The lux guesthouse. My room was set apart from the others, near the gate, and the wooden door with glass looked easy to break into. There was no air conditioning or electric blanket, just a small fan heater that was supposed to warm the room. I didn’t sleep there in the end. I shared a room with my colleague elsewhere, even though I’d paid the full amount. The receptionist/manager was very impatient and seemed irritated. They didn’t seem to care that we weren’t satisfied. I definitely wouldn’t recommend this place.

We were completely stranded in the middle of the night, and they got up to let us in. I don’t often write reviews, but The Lux deserves the praise. It’s a family-owned business with amazing values. The rooms are stunning, and we felt very safe.

The helper lady was the only one who was nice. I arrived at the gate exhausted and waited 10 minutes, with no apology from the owner, who acted like opening up was a favour. The house looked dull, unlike the pictures, and the service was poor. I wouldn’t recommend it. The shower head is tiny and the water doesn’t flow properly, so I didn’t enjoy showering there.👎🏽👎🏽
