A quiet spot in the bush, well away from the hustle of town. Just the place if you’re looking for that bush feel.

Disappointing stay. Google Maps sent me onto a seriously rough road, and by luck I didn’t damage my car when I hit an unmarked speed bump in the dark. The staff received me warmly and showed me to my room, but there was no coffee, cup, or kettle, and the fridge was empty. There was no TV either. The room was clean, but sparsely furnished, with old loose tiles and no shower curtain. I’d been warned about load shedding, but breakfast of any kind wasn’t offered because of it. Worst of all, there was no water since the lodge relies on a borehole that needs electricity. I had to leave without taking a shower.

Between the accommodation, service, and scenery, Normann Safari Bush Lodge was top class. I even got to take an afternoon jog and spot lots of new birds along the way. Thanks for a great stay!

We had such a good stay. The owner was really accommodating, and the staff were brilliant. Everything was tidy and quiet, and breakfast was massive. In the evening they made a lovely fire with wood, not charcoal, and we also went for a swim, which was definitely a bonus in summertime.

Really nice, quiet spot in the bush. The rooms were clean and neat, and the staff were awesome and very friendly. Breakfast was delicious 🩷🤞🏿. Could we please get TVs in the rooms and some cutlery?
