The courtyard has a little fairytale feel to it, and the restaurant and bar were a feast for the eyes and busy while I was there. The rooms were very clean, the staff were all friendly and helpful, and I honestly can't fault the place. The owner welcomed me so warmly, along with her dogs, and I had a wonderful time chatting with people. It's a charming little hotel, lovingly furnished, and I'll definitely return.

The photos didn't show just how delightful this place is. I was doubtful at first, then happily surprised by how quirky, interesting, comforting and peaceful it felt. The Alice in Wonderland theme is done tastefully. Reception was warm and welcoming, the room was a decent size, and the king bed was really comfortable. Plenty of coffee, tea and fresh milk, too. Breakfast was excellent. Definitely a winner.

The courtyard felt so peaceful, with turtle doves and water trickling from the feature. I'm not usually into the whimsical Alice in Wonderland look, but I can appreciate the time, love, effort and artistry behind it. There was plenty of coffee and tea, fresh milk in the fridge, an electric blanket, and down pillows and a duvet. Parking is secure behind a wall, and the staff are genuinely friendly. The generous breakfast and all the thoughtful extras make generosity the first word that comes to mind.

I spent a week here and found something new in the decor every day. The atmosphere is magical, and the owner puts real care and commitment into making it feel warm and unforgettable. The food was delicious, the rooms were beautiful and clean, and the service was very friendly. I'll never forget the place, and hope I can return one day :)
