Kuruman Inn by Country Hotels

It’s a cute, lovely place, and I enjoyed the wonderful breakfast. But honestly, I’m not happy. The sheets aren’t changed often enough, and mine were dirty and stained. I don’t even want to think about what the yellow stain was. The plugs kept tripping, the fridge ice melted and watered down my drink, and I was annoyed at having to keep asking for the plugs to be switched on. There were cockroaches too, and I won’t go into that. The table still had oily marks when I got back from work on Monday, after arriving Sunday and leaving them there. Sickening is an understatement. I couldn’t tell if the towel was old or dirty, but it didn’t look good.

I had a really bad experience in the middle of the night. I called around 11pm on 17th October2025 to make a reservation, then arrived after 12midnight. The receptionist gave me a form to fill in my details, but when I got to the date, he told me to put the 17th even though it was already the 18th. I asked why, and what would happen if something came up and people needed to know where I was. He said that was just how they did things and he couldn’t help me, and that I should find somewhere else to rest. That was awful.

The rooms were nice and clean, though some need upgrading, especially considering the price.

I loved how spacious the room was, and the microwave was a nice addition. Vinolia at reception was extremely friendly and explained everything clearly. She even moved my colleague to a room closer to mine so we wouldn’t be too far apart.
