Breakfast and the snack pack were both lovely. Zanalee was always welcoming and took great care of us, and even the doggies were happy in the peaceful garden, where they were treated with love. A really pleasant stay, thank you for looking after us so well.

BEWARE: Top House cancelled my booking only four days before my stay, even though I had booked more than four months ahead and received confirmation. I was travelling internationally for my daughter's wedding near Ladybrand, so this left me in a very frustrating position. They said they were giving the room to someone who had asked at the last minute to extend their stay. That showed little regard for confirmed bookings or guests. I can't recommend Top House, and I'd think twice before relying on them for accommodation.

We were welcomed with a hearty breakfast before getting back on the road, and the room had tea, coffee and cookies waiting for us. The bed was very comfortable, with an electric blanket that kept us warm. Our car was parked just a few steps away in a secure, gated area. Top House B&B was a lovely surprise in Ladybrand, and we'll definitely stay there again. I can highly recommend it for a comfortable visit.

The owner was charming and kind, and nothing felt like too much trouble. Breakfast had a lovely, homely feel. My room was pretty and had everything I wanted, including plenty of charging plugs and good WiFi. The house is a beautiful 100-year-old sandstone home set in a lovely garden. I'd definitely stay again.

I slept really well and found the place comfortable. The shower heads could use some fixing, but otherwise it was a nice stay.
