Villa On Joubert

Right in the heart of Ladybrand, this place is a lovely find. The host did everything possible to make our visit enjoyable, and the staff were both friendly and efficient. Our room was clean and smelled really nice. It gets 10 out of 5 from me. Keep shining.

This quiet, lovely guesthouse sits beside a nice restaurant in Ladybrand, in a beautiful sandstone house. It’s neat, and the host is very attentive. There’s room service or the option to order food to your room, plus a small lapa/braai area. Whether you’re there for work or pleasure, it has what you need.

The restaurant felt modern and beautifully decorated while still being homely, and the breakfast was fantastic at reasonable prices. Our room had a cosy, up-to-date feel, with thoughtful extras like body wash, cream, coffee, and milk. Service was top-notch. We found a real gem in Lady Brand, and enjoyed our stay as travellers. It’s a lovely stop for an adventure or while driving through to another destination.

We found the guesthouse very clean, practical, modern, and safe. There’s lock-up parking, an automatic gate, and a trellidor by the entrance to our room. The room had a bed, bathroom, microwave, fridge, and kettle. It’s attached to the restaurant and very affordable, and the host was super nice. My husband and I will definitely return.
