We spent five days here, and it was definitely not a good experience. I never met the hostess. The helper met us, and when problems came up, they were left for her daughter and son to sort out. The Wi-Fi wouldn’t connect to the TV, so with four teenagers we had no TV for the whole stay. The fridge wasn’t working when we arrived, and because the unit is self-catering, our food spoiled. We only got a working fridge the next morning. The unit also had several maintenance issues: cracks in the walls, a loose, wobbly dining chair, and a broken bedside lamp propped against the wall and held with insulation tape, with no plug. In Unit 4, the septic tank outlet was right in front of the unit and smelled. And it isn’t really a nature reserve if the Springbok are captive in the backyard.
