Madi a Thavha Mountain Lodge

We hiked the trail up the mountain to a waterfall, and we're already planning to return. I'll make this my regular place to stay when I'm working in Limpopo. The lodge is surreal and beautiful, and the website photos match what you find in person. The staff are attentive and very friendly.

We found this place as a last minute surprise on our way to Zambia. Up in the mountains, it had amazing views, and the weather was cold when we arrived. The staff were helpful and friendly, and helped us sort out an issue changing my hotel date. Lester was a great help, and Vanita helped us with breakfast. I'd definitely recommend staying here.

It's a great place and the staff are friendly. Juice deserves special thanks for making our stay more enjoyable and taking care of our requests. Still, rain leaked into our rooms, and the shower drains kept clogging. We also weren't happy that the staff turned off the geyser without telling us. Food orders can take a while, so it's best to order 4hrs ahead. They offer paintball, but it was disappointing to find there was no PPE for the activity.
