The view is breathtaking, and the food is mouthwatering and consistently well balanced. Two young men, one working as a chef and one at reception, have excellent hospitality skills and always go the extra mile to make us feel at home. The staff are friendly in general too. I didn't give a 5-star rating because some things could improve, but overall it's a hospitable place.

The kitchen food is amazing, and both the owner and staff are friendly and helpful. The owner will go out of her way to make sure your stay is comfortable and suits your budget. Staff are also respectful, humble, accommodating, and kind. The lodge itself is amazing, with breathtaking views. Cellphone reception is poor because of the mountains, but free guest WiFi is available.

The garden outside is lovely, clean, and perfect for photos. The wedding setup and reception were gorgeous too, but the rooms weren't what I expected. The aircons don't work and make a lot of noise, the showers need renovating, and the bed gave me back pains. Network reception is poor, perhaps because of the area. We weren't given WiFi, if it's available at all, and there was no password in the rooms.

We loved coming here for a day trip with friends. The groundsmen were very helpful when we set up our braai, and the grounds themselves are stunning. The only letdown was the poolside rest and change rooms. They could be more private and better equipped.
