No Wi-Fi, and for over R900 for a bed only, the service was nowhere near what you'd expect, especially from a place with Booking.com rewards. They don't answer questions sent online, and the phone number listed on Bookings.com and other internet platforms is wrong. After we honked for about 10 minutes, a very unfriendly lady, Rossina, came to open the gate. She was in slippers, looked unkempt, and didn't seem interested in helping. We'd already visited plenty of properties across the country, Namibia, and Lesotho, and this was easily the worst welcome we'd had. The room she showed us was surprisingly neat. When we wanted to go out for dinner, we found there was no remote for the gate, and she told us to honk instead of giving us her number. We got her number anyway, went for pizza, and came back 20 minutes later to find Rossina very grumpy as she opened the gate. There was hardly any water in the room, so we couldn't shower. The pressure was low and the shower head was broken. It also took ages to get enough water in the kettle for two small cups of coffee.

We stayed four nights as a group of seven, and it was a miserable stay. There was no hot water for bathing, the stove never worked, and the water pressure was very low. During load-shedding, the pump stopped, so no water came from the taps. There was no generator or gas stove as a backup, which also meant we couldn't cook. The room my husband and I were given had no wardrobes. When we raised the problems with the cold water, missing wardrobes, broken stove, and weak pressure, the owner, Shoni, told us to leave immediately. We didn't meet her on arrival. The caretaker who received us could only communicate in TshiVenda, so there was a huge communication gap. The bathrooms have slippery glazed tiles, and we didn't feel the place was safe. It's a no-go for me, and I wouldn't be surprised if it isn't on the tourism list of guesthouses. Senaville guesthouse was the worst place I've ever stayed, and I don't think it deserves to be listed as a guesthouse. Shoni was arrogant and bullying.
