The people here are wonderful, especially the chef, who goes the extra mile and serves well-prepared meals. The staff are great too, and I love the hospitality I get every time I visit Mahikeng. The dusty area nearby can leave the rooms dirty even after the floors have been cleaned. Some things, like the taps and floors, also need fixing.

The chef went out of her way to accommodate me as a vegetarian, and the staff gave excellent service. We had a great stay and I’ll definitely return when I’m in Mahikeng. The room was large, with a spacious bathroom, a shower and tub, air conditioning, and comfortable, clean bedding. On the second morning the hot water pressure was low. I’m guessing it was because that was peak bath time, so perhaps they could look into it. Keep it up!

After a five-hour drive, check-in was a nightmare. They wouldn’t let us check in until the booking agent arranged payment. The room wasn’t clean, the towels were old and more like rags, and the showers were mouldy and dirty. Paint was peeling from the ceiling, and dampness on the wall left a musty smell. Breakfast was economy-line quality. I’d never recommend anyone stay there.

A comfortable place to spend the night in Mahikeng. The staff are lovely and always keen to help with any questions. I’d recommend staying here.
