Our daughter's wedding at Whispering Pines gave us memories we'll keep forever. The food was beautifully presented and delicious, and our guests are still talking about it. The setting was breathtaking, surrounded by love and laughter, with warm, genuine hospitality from the moment we arrived. Every detail was handled with care and professionalism. Thank you for making such a once-in-a-lifetime occasion even more unforgettable, and for creating a perfect place for our family to celebrate.

The accommodation was spacious, comfortable and spotless, and the food was outstanding. Whispering Pines was so quiet and peaceful, just what we needed. Israel and the rest of the team were welcoming and went out of their way to make the stay memorable. When a rain spider got into our room during the rainy weather, Israel quickly and professionally helped us get it back outside, since we were afraid. We had wonderful hospitality and care from arrival through to leaving, and we'll be back in a heartbeat.

The shower had consistently strong pressure and reliable hot water at any time of day, which was such a rare bonus. The rooms were spotless, comfortable and well maintained, and the staff were warm throughout. Tshepo deserves a special mention for going above and beyond to take care of every request. The food was fresh, delicious and reasonably priced. The beautiful property has mini walking trails, a relaxing pool area, plus table tennis and darts. I had a wonderful Easter Weekend stay at Whispering Pines in the Magalies this past Easter Weekend (2026), and would happily return. Highly recommended!

The log fireplace was a special treat, and the rooms were well maintained with tasteful decor. Whispering Pines is a beautiful, serene escape from urban life. We had a wonderful stay this week. Lucky (Strike) and Tshepo took particular care to handle every request, and all the staff were professional, warm and welcoming. The food was fresh and very tasty, and the dining area was peaceful and inviting. Thanks to everyone.

The staff remembered me on my second visit, and management and staff were attentive again. There are several room options, all with what you need. The menu is small but has something for all tastes, and the food is excellent. Winter is especially nice in a room with a fireplace, it feels indulgent and like a home away from home.
