We loved staying here, and the staff were quick to answer our questions. The one hassle was sharing an iron with several other units because ours didn’t have one. We also had trouble with the electricity tripping, first when we used the oven and then with the kettle, though staff responded promptly both times. The setting is so peaceful, above a tranquil lake and within walking distance of Ramsgate Beach. The building and grounds are well looked after, and the views are lovely. There’s room for up to seven people, with plenty of space, crockery and cutlery, two fridges, and a bar area. The main bedroom has an en-suite, TV, safe, and private balcony. Get up early for sunrise, with the birds and waves in the background. Bliss! ❤️

For what they charge, this place is absolutely overpriced. The windows and roof leak, there’s building rubble at the unit entrance, and the stove is rusty. The cupboards are mouldy and rotten, while the doors are so decayed and rusted they’re barely openable. There wasn’t enough cutlery, and the bedding and towels were old.

The views are excellent, and the beach is just across the road. Everything was very neat and tidy.
