The cleaning needs serious work. The fridge was dirty, the white towels had black residue, the bathroom floor was dirty, and there was black sticky residue on the bathroom door. The shower door was missing glass, and there was no microwave. The parking area was a disgrace, and there’s no security. When the lady is in town, you can’t get help. The pretty pictures seem to draw you in, but the place is nothing like them. They also advertise beach access, but there isn’t any. I’m so sorry I spent so much money here.

Security was a concern for me. Random people came and went, and the gate didn’t feel secure. The bathrooms weren’t properly clean, there were cobwebs in the cupboards and sticky residue on the kitchen counters. Some kitchen cupboards even had food that expired in 2019. The place seemed to be falling apart. In the middle of summer in KZN, the pool was dirty and unusable, and the jacuzzi hasn’t worked in years. This was an unpleasant, disappointing stay, and I don’t consider it a four-star establishment.

I booked for 5th to 9th October 2020. For now, I need a receipt because auditors have asked to see one. I’ve sent messages explaining this since Friday 9th October 2020, but I’m being ignored. I hope someone will help me. I’ll describe the stay later.

Things have improved a lot lately. The new manager is making a real effort, but maintenance still needs investment support from the owner.

The place is stunning and the service was amazing. I just wish the garden service came more regularly so the garden could be better maintained.
