Southern Comfort - On the Pool

It’s a nice enough place and pets are welcome. Fishing around there isn’t easy, though. The microwave had a problem, but they sorted it promptly, which was great. We had hot water the first night, then almost none for the next four days. On the morning we left, my phone was stolen through the window by the nightstand. We’re unlikely to visit anything around Billsbest and Ramsgate again. Parking was so bad that I couldn’t leave my wife and daughter at the property to go deep-sea fishing, because she wouldn’t have been able to get the bakkie out.

I come here each year for special bonding time with my daughter. This year we have two new blessings, twin girls, so the tradition will now include three generations. The accommodation is superb, run efficiently, and very affordable. The location is ideal, with beautiful views to wake up to and the sound of the ocean as you fall asleep. I can’t wait for my angels to play in the sand and rock pool along the path to the ocean, right outside the units.

We only needed to bring our clothes because the unit had everything else. It’s private and safe, and our boys, aged 2 and 4, had a great time. We’ll definitely be back soon!

This was my second stay at one of BillsBest’s pet friendly self-catering units, and I always enjoy myself. This year we saw plenty of whales and dolphins, such a feast for the eyes. I’ll probably come back for a third visit 🥰
