Tidy and peaceful, with plenty of outdoor activities and easy access to the beach.

We had a spontaneous weekend with family friends and everyone had a great time. The complex was clean and felt very safe. The kids loved the tennis courts, jungle gym, trampoline, and two swimming pools. They could keep busy outside without adult supervision because it was so safe, and the adults joined in the activities too. A weekend everyone enjoyed.

The beach is right there, and there are plenty of ways to spend time on site too, from the pools and tennis courts to squash, a duck pond and braai facilities. Great apartments.

We hadn't planned a family break, but ended up having a lovely weekend in a charming place that was comfortable and suited our needs. The kitchen was clean and well equipped for self-catering. Every so often, especially at bedtime, we could hear the waves, which was so soothing. DSTV was handy, though WiFi would have been even better. A beautiful, comfortable stay.

The staff were welcoming and helpful, and the beach was easy to get to. The accommodation had what we needed and was comfortable. Surfbay Sands on the South Coast made a great spot for a relaxing beach holiday.
