Holiday home Sunny Rock

The many stairs between the rooms and the rest of the property could be tiring, especially at times, but they didn't spoil our stay. Sunny Rocks at Southbroom is peaceful and beautifully kept, with lovely surroundings. I found it a relaxing getaway and would recommend it to anyone after a worthwhile break in Southbroom.

We spent seven days at Sunny Rock, and it was just the break my husband and I needed from our busy lives. The place is quiet, and we loved hearing the nature around us. Our unit felt homey and was clean. The weather was great, and we even swam in the warm rock pool in the evening. We also had braais under the lovely Lapa. The beach is only a two-minute drive away. I'd definitely recommend staying here.

There were five of us in the family, and the kids especially loved it. The pool and braai area were lovely. Sunny Rock is a beautiful, quiet place, and we'd recommend going to see it for yourself if you want to unwind after busy days at work.

The rock pool and lapa looked nice, though we didn't get time to use the pool. The rooms are upstairs and get unbearably hot, even when it was raining, because there's no ventilation. They looked clean from a distance, but didn't feel clean to the touch, and we had cockroaches too, as previous guests mentioned. The couches and cushions were grimy and sticky and need a proper steam clean. It was hard to find. GPS on both our phones kept getting lost, and one route sent us up a really frightening, dangerous mud road. Even when we finally reached the gate, there was no sign to identify the place. We won't be back.
