Injabulo

We found a nearby waterpark and shops, and though their prices were a little above a usual supermarket, they were well stocked. Driving in and out of Marloth was easy, and the route to the Kruger Park takes about 25 to 30 minutes through scenic surroundings. If you have a 4x4, try the easy to moderate route along the river from Crocoldile road. We saw lots of game there, and some people walk it too. It's lovely. Adele, who manages rentals for Injabulo, was wonderful. She advised us about the route to and from Injabulo, traffic, and Kruger Park itself. There had apparently been a problem with the geyser the week before our visit, so they promptly installed a new gas one. They were planning to add a gas stove too, which would make loadshedding less of an issue. The house was fully equipped, even more so than other places we've stayed. It had a bit of a 'feel free to leave things for the next guests' spirit: there was half a can of Peaceful sleep and other mosquito supplies, so I left my leftovers too. We had a wonderful stay.

I was only 10m from a herd of kudus! You won't find many experiences like this. Absolutely recommend it. There are incredible chances to watch animals at night, though I wish I'd brought a torch, or eaten more carrots when I was younger.

Injabulo really does feel like a home away from home.

Clean, quiet and peaceful. There was no Wi-Fi or television.
