Marloth Kruger Lodges

At first glance the place looked lovely, but check-in was delayed because it wasn't ready. We were told to wait or accept another facility, and chose to wait. That turned out badly: when we finally got into the rooms, the beds had been made but the facility hadn't been cleaned. It was late, so we stayed the night expecting the cleaning to happen the next day. We'd paid extra for cleaning services during booking. When we came back the following afternoon, the beds had fresh linen, there were new towels and the dishes had been washed, but nothing else seemed to have been cleaned. Dead bugs and spiders were still there, cobwebs remained over the bath and basin, and the garbage bins hadn't been emptied. One shower also had a problem draining wastewater. We waited to see whether it would be cleaned the next day, but came back to the same lack of service. We decided to check out and move somewhere better. I don't know whether the owners know about this, don't care, or whether being far from your staff leads to losses. The facility didn't look well maintained.
