Wonderful place, though my wife and I, both in our eighties, had some difficulty with the stairs to the kitchen and dining room. We had to make do with the bar and lounge.

This is a beautiful, spacious house with interesting furnishings, terraces and a raised terrace where you can watch the animals at the Crocodile River Park. At night, under the stars, we especially loved hearing lions, hyenas, hippos and elephants. The park was very parched and burned, unfortunately, but living right beside kudus, warthogs and giraffes was still an amazing experience. One note from our trip with three small children: this house isn't suitable for little ones. There are too many balconies and stairs that aren't well secured, though it's great for adults. Also, take the advice about shutting doors and windows when you go out seriously, or monkeys will raid your food! :-)
