I’ve never experienced worse guesthouse management. After I made a reservation, there was no confirmation, and I had to keep following up. I cancelled under the cancellation policy, but the refund never came, only excuses. After two months without payment, I gave up. I also saw other guests’ accounts of poor maintenance and regular cold water. Honesty doesn’t seem to be part of their policy.

The room was lovely, and the receptionist was always ready to help. That bed was so soft I seriously wanted to take it home. Mornings were rough, though: other guests played loud music and started partying as early as 9am, with no thought for anyone still sleeping. The showers were cold, too.

The service was poor, and requests didn’t seem to get much consideration. The bathroom hadn’t been cleaned, the bedding hadn’t been changed or washed, and the shower had no hot water. There wasn’t even a fridge for water or cold drinks, and the drain was blocked. I wouldn’t recommend this guesthouse.

It’s easy enough to find and looks alright, but the service was deeply disappointing. They said we had to leave the room before they would clean it, and they never brought us towels. Wi-Fi depended on one person being there, so when that person was away, there was no Wi-Fi. The manageress didn’t communicate well with the staff, leaving us caught in the middle. There was no security on the premises beyond CCTV cameras, which wouldn’t help if a fight broke out. I’m still not sure why they invite people if they can’t meet their needs.

I wasn’t satisfied with the stay. The shower needs attention, and the cold tap barely provided enough water. The TV had only a few selected channels, which wasn’t what I expected. Guests should at least be given 2L of drinking water, unless they’re told beforehand to bring their own.
