Chill Pepper Boutique Hotel

This was my second stay at Chilli Pepper Hotel, and once again the room and location worked well for me, but the kitchen was a letdown. I was there for two work nights. The first evening, my waiter took a while to bring coffee, though I let it go. On the second night I got back from work tired, around 7 PM, and went to the kitchen at about 7:50. There was no buffet, only a very limited menu. The attendant said they had expected fewer people for dinner and were trying to make a plan. I accepted that, odd as it seemed for a place of this size. I ordered an Asian dressing salad, beef with vegetables, pudding with custard, a cafe latte and still water at about 8:06. I was told it would take 25 minutes, so I got my laptop from my room and waited. By 9:10 I still had no food or drinks. The attendant said he would check, and eventually brought my coffee, but gave no update about dinner. Around 9:50 I complained to the manager, the man with Rasta, because it had been over an hour and a half. At 10, my food and water still hadn't arrived. I asked the attendant for the water and left. After dropping my bag upstairs, I told the manager and receptionist I was unhappy. The manager apologized and said the meal would be ready within an hour. I said I’d buy takeaway if it wasn't there in 15 minutes. It wasn't, so I went to get food nearby. When I returned, a new team was on shift. I explained the problem to that manager, who called the previous manager, Rasta. After the call, he pointed to some food and said it was mine. It turned out to be rice with beef, not what I had ordered. I finally ate the takeaway at 11:07 PM, after ordering before 8. Anyone on a work trip who just needs dinner and a chance to rest should avoid this place and the added stress. If you’re here for leisure, happy to eat elsewhere, or willing to wait two hours or more, it may be fine. I’m really disappointed. My advice to the owner is to take a close look at the kitchen staff, especially the attendants and waiters.

Everything was wow, from the food and rooms to the service. It all met the standard.

The hotel has a quiet feel for the most part, despite being in an industrial area. The rooms are modern, open plan and apartment-like, with plenty of space, good lighting, walk-in showers, separate his-and-hers sinks, and blinds operated by remote. There are lots of outdoor areas to gather, and the dining setup works for couples or big groups. Tables can be pushed together for a shared meal. It seems well suited to family outings, work events and larger groups. The decor includes beautiful chandeliers, and the boardrooms are nicely designed. There’s also a spa, smoke rooms, and a shuttle available to take you where you need to go.

Friendly staff, clean and lovely surroundings, and easy access to nearby shopping malls. Chilli Pepper Boutique Hotel is also easy to get to.
