Fred and Ruth stayed from 28 Dec to 2 Jan 2026. Breakfast was disgusting. Everything was charged by the item: R8 per sachet of butter, R12 per slice of ham, R11 per egg, and R5 per slice of bread. Staff cleared plates while guests were still eating instead of waiting for everyone, and leaned over us to serve and clear the table. At check-in, the duty manager pointed us toward our room and handed us the key. Nobody helped with our luggage or showed us how anything in the room worked. The next morning at breakfast, I asked for the number of an acupuncture practitioner nearby. The woman on duty said she'd ask the manager, and was sorry to hear our car had a puncture. Wouldn't recommend it.

It has a retreat-like feel, while shopping centres and restaurants in Nelspruit are still easy to get to. The owners were professional, helpful, and accommodating. I had an amazing experience and would return in a heartbeat.

The noise at night was awful. You could hear every move from the rooms next door. They say it stays quiet after 22:00, but that wasn't the case. Other guests were partying, with loud music, talking, running around, cars hooting and playing music, and no consideration for anyone who wasn't partying. I couldn't sleep from midnight until about 3:00 am. Check-in went really well, and that was where the good experience ended. The room was okay but old, the amenities were average, and the shower wasn't great, though the bathtub was amazing. The free WiFi wasn't available between 20:00 and 06:00. It would've been good to know, especially since I'd specifically said I was working that evening. If you want good value, matching service, and to sleep between midnight and 03:00, don't stay here.
