We brought our two little dogs along and had no trouble at all. Val’s cottage was beautifully decorated and spotless, with a really comfortable bed, and the breakfast was delicious. We enjoyed our one-night stay and our first visit to Mcgregor.

Val is such a warm, friendly host, and breakfast was delicious. We loved the beautiful garden and all the birds, and it was great to find a place that welcomes pets. Tucked into the heart of McGregor, it felt like a lovely escape from the busy city. Well worth a visit.

The garden is full of birds gathering at the feeders, and it hardly feels like you’re staying in town. We had a large room with a king-size bed and crisp, clean linen and towels. There was a roomy entrance area with a big couch, plus things like a Nespresso machine and bar fridge. Great value for money, and we’d recommend Fountain Place.

Val made us feel at home throughout our stay, and brought us a delicious breakfast on the terrace. The rooms were comfortable and nicely decorated, with a stunning garden all around.

We stayed on a Monday night, and Val was already a step ahead of things. She was thoughtful, flexible and helpful, and the place was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was fabulous too. Fountain Place was great.
