I expected a three-star place, but this felt worth four. It was clean, cosy, comfortable and safe, with everything a traveller might need thoughtfully provided. Absolutely excellent.

That little garden had me in heaven. The cottage is cosy and beautifully situated, and the place was neat and clean with everything provided, so there was no need to bring anything along. There are lovely spots to try local food and wine too. A great choice for getting some quiet, relaxing and forgetting the city for a while. Thanks so much to the hostess.

The cottage has two bedrooms and two bathrooms, one with a bath and the other with a shower, so it works well for a family or two couples. It had everything we needed and plenty of thoughtful touches. One small suggestion: a spotlight by the fire pit would help. We enjoyed our stay in McGregor, and the McGregor wine farm offers free tastings and wines at very reasonable prices. Highly recommended.

A cool, relaxing cottage with a shady, sheltered garden. It’s lovely, thoughtfully laid out and well equipped, and worked perfectly for a little family getaway.

The private braai area was really nice, and everything was clean and well catered for. We had a totally relaxing weekend. Definitely recommend it if you’re after a quiet break.
