The rooms were spotlessly clean, and breakfast was delicious. Sindy met us and was so friendly and helpful. Whipstock is quiet and relaxing, with beautiful walks nearby. We visited a couple of years ago too, and will definitely return. Picture of Whisky the farm cat.

The quiet and the walks were lovely. The old farmhouse and its buildings are beautiful, clearly well maintained and loved, with those 18" walls.

The scenery is stunning, and the dinner and breakfast they served were fantastic. We hiked the Boersmanskloof trail from Greyton, and our host picked us up at the top and drove us to the guest farm. The next day, they took us back to the trailhead for the return hike. This is the real deal for rustic South African accommodation. We plan to come back to Whipstock and explore the many other trails.

The cottages are well equipped, and Mcgregor is close enough if you feel like eating out. There's also a nice short walk to a clean dam where you can cool off. The views of the mountains are incredible, and the host is lovely. Such a joy to spend evenings here, and fantastic value for money.

The hospitality was the best part of this beautiful farm, and Cindy was amazing. Nothing was too much trouble. A few of us in the family stayed at Whipstock for a wedding at Lord's Wines, just a 6-minute drive away. The views were amazing too. Wish we could've stayed longer. We'll definitely be back!
