There’s a lively weekend feel here, with a good choice of restaurants nearby. The area is convenient for major shopping spots, including Sandton City and the Mall of Africa. With businesses like PWC and Accenture close by, it also seems like a promising place to live.

It feels safe and secure here, and you can even walk to the mall without being attacked or robbed, thanks to the patrolling officers. The rooms are beautiful and very tidy, and feel as comfortable as home.

I won’t come back. The parking rules were frustrating: I was shown a bay on arrival, checked in, and went to my room for an online meeting. When I later tried to leave, I was told I had to pay for parking. They provide a dedicated space for your stay, but you only get 15 minutes to move your car to the assigned spot before being charged. They charge a lot for the room, yet won’t open the boom if you’ve parked at reception too long. I’ve decided to pay the extra fee, but they won’t see me again. The staff and security weren’t rude exactly, but they were impolite and made me uncomfortable. Nobody had a kind word to say, they just did their jobs. At check-in they photograph your ID and send you a six digit security PIN for coming and going. But after leaving reception, security stopped me and wanted to photograph my ID again. When I asked why, they couldn’t give a valid reason beyond saying it was their job. I found that highly irregular. I don’t recommend this accommodation.

I booked a night but couldn’t go in the end. They wouldn’t let me cancel and charged me for the full night, even though that ignored their own cancellation policy. If you need serious accommodation, choose somewhere else.
