Lipizzaner Lodge

The host helped us with everything after hours, which we really appreciated. What a lovely place to stay. We’ll recommend it to others and would gladly come back.

I stayed in cabin 6 with my Labrador from 1-6 October 2025. Prosper went the extra mile for me, and sorted out the TV connection issue and patio light that wasn’t working straight away. The food I ordered was very nice, everything was so clean, and the service was top notch. The swimming pool area is amazing too. It’s close to everything, which is a big plus for me. I’d recommend this place to everyone, and hope to stay at Lipezzaner again in the future, if my Labrador is welcome 🐾❤️.

We had a peaceful, homely four-night stay at Lipizzaner Lodge in Room 7. We picked it for its proximity to our venue and because it was pet friendly, which worked well for travelling with our dog. The equestrian estate added to the quiet charm, and although we didn’t meet the horses, we enjoyed watching an equestrian event across the road. Prosper was helpful, professional, and attentive from our first booking enquiry. He made sure things went smoothly, then even checked in after we got home to see if we’d travelled safely. That genuine care stuck with me. The staff were waiting for us when we arrived, knew who we were, and made check-in easy. Room 7 was spotless and comfortable, with a bar fridge, microwave, and its own Wi-Fi router for a strong connection. The smart TV had Netflix, and signing into other personal streaming accounts was easy. Towels were fresh daily, the air conditioning kept the room cool, and the shower had great pressure and hot water. We also got two fresh water bottles each day, and the coffee and sugar were refilled. Small things, but appreciated. We ordered dinner one night. The pork chops with mixed vegetables were delicious, and my partner enjoyed his BBQ chicken pizza. The central pool area was lovely, and our dog was allowed to swim too. We also used the tennis court, where rackets and balls were available for guests. The shower did spray some water onto the bathroom floor and door, but that was a minor inconvenience and didn’t affect our comfort. Lipizzaner Lodge was safe, warm, pet friendly, and good value for money. I’d happily return and recommend it to couples, families, or anyone after a peaceful getaway.

Management did a lot to make our stay comfortable and help us out. The pool was nice and clean, and it’s a good spot for a quiet, quaint stay. Just check whether your room is self-catering. The entertainment area needs some attention, since the pool table is broken.
