Regal Inn Hotel

The rooms are neat, and I really like how friendly the receptionist and security staff are. But the shower water runs slowly and then turns cold, even at the highest setting. I also had to get the handyman to fix the shower glass because water was getting onto the bathroom floor. They don't provide milk in the rooms, and the old irons and boards made it hard to press my shirts on a business trip. There was no manager on site. The vending machine took my money without giving me the product or a refund. Management knows about it but hasn't sorted out what I lost. I was told the supplier didn't care, never called me back, and so far nobody at Reagal Inn has followed up either. Very disappointing.

My only suggestion would be to add a fridge with bottled water to the rooms, which would be handy for longer stays. Otherwise, I've had a pleasant, comfortable experience on each of my regular visits to The Regal Inn Midrand over the past four months. The front desk lady always greets me warmly and professionally. A couple of times I turned up without a confirmed booking because I'd forgotten to arrange it. Once I showed proof of payment, she handled things efficiently and made sure I had a comfortable room. I usually book breakfast, but I often leave for work before service starts. The kitchen team still helps me out, offering coffee and trying to prepare something before I go. I appreciate their flexibility and care. Thanks to everyone at The Regal Inn Midrand for your consistent effort, professionalism and commitment to guests.

The pizzas were easily the best part of my stay, freshly made, full of flavour and amazing. Regal Inn Hotel is also a clean, comfortable place. The rooms are basic but very clean, and the bathrooms were spotless. The receptionist gave me a warm welcome and made check-in easy. If you want a simple clean stay with surprisingly good pizza, it's worth it.

I paid for a superior room, but got a very small one with a double bed sagging in the middle. Room 350. If that's superior, what are the standard rooms like? The bathroom was tiny, the ceiling looked uneven, and the furniture seemed cheap. It faced the pool and bar, so it was noisy. The security and cleaning staff were lovely and friendly, but the receptionists weren't. I definitely won't stay here again.
