We had a pleasant short stay. The beds felt firm but were comfortable, and the extra blankets were useful on a cold night. There were plenty of clean towels too. The kitchen was tidy and had enough cutlery for our family of four. The lounge had plenty of seating and was well equipped, though the TV looked small from where the couches were. We had a hard time locking and unlocking the butler door at flat A. A simple picture showing how the key works would help, since it took us a while to understand it.

The rates for bowlers are very good, thanks! The place was clean, well kept, and good value. One suggestion: it would be helpful to have a room set up for guests with disabilities or wheelchair users. The bedroom was okay, but the bathrooms aren't really accessible or practical to use from a wheelchair.

The location was handy and easy to get to, and the room itself was lovely and comfortable. But our timing over the long weekend wasn't great. After we checked in Friday, the room hadn't been cleaned Saturday morning, and the coffee station wasn't topped up either. Guests in room 6 also made a lot of disruptive noise from Friday evening through to Saturday morning. Some improvements are needed.

Marula is clean and comfortable, with fresh linen, a cozy bed, a good shower and reliable hot water. The Wi-Fi worked perfectly, and reception was friendly. My team and I stayed for two nights, and I'd definitely return. It's one of my top 10 places to stay. Thanks, Marula.
