The beds were really comfortable, and the bathroom, kitchen, and outdoor areas were lovely and well equipped. There’s plenty to do and see nearby. I’d recommend this cottage for a self-catering break and would happily stay again. The main bedroom is lovely, though its bedside lamp is too dim for reading, and the second room could really use a bedside lamp and table. There’s not much room for clothes, so we had to leave our cases on top of the kist.

Boesman (Owner), we had an absolutely great weekend in the two-bedroom cottage. I just wish the hot tub had been steaming when we arrived, since it took too long to warm up.

We came back for a second stay, this time in the bigger house. It’s spacious and has a lovely outdoor area, so this will be our regular choice for future Montagu visits. Wifi access would be nice, but it isn’t a big deal.

We felt completely at home and had plenty of freedom in the cozy apartment. It was immaculate, and ready right away even though we booked at short notice. Thank you to the owner of Karoo Rus. I highly recommend staying here.

Tidy and straightforward, with a nice view. It had everything a self-catering place should have, and everything worked. I didn’t check or ask about WiFi.
