Mirihof Retreat and Olive Estate

I’ve stayed at Mirihof several times and would recommend it. Natasha and Stuart are wonderful hosts, and I felt at home and welcome. The rooms are modern and tastefully decorated, with thoughtful details like a little carafe of wine and flowers. That quiet walk among the olive trees was a lovely part of our stay. My husband and I had such a wonderful time here: the estate is beautiful, the rooms were spotless, and breakfast was excellent. Yolandie made us feel so welcome, and Deborah’s outdoor massage was the best we’ve ever had. The whole team went out of their way to make us comfortable.

We went for our wedding anniversary, and all the thoughtful little touches made it a memorable stay for both of us. The hosts and Retreat staff were attentive and caring throughout. The peaceful venue and gorgeous rooms were a pleasure too. I’d happily recommend staying overnight.

Natasha was so welcoming, and we enjoyed chatting with her about the olive business, the retreat, and their beautiful Percheron horses, Trudie and Kaiser, who are stabled there. Our stay was only one night, but we’ll definitely be back soon. Mirihof is set back from the main road, with a stunning mountain view behind it and mature olive trees all around the back. They’re organically farmed. Everything was immaculate and tastefully done, and you can see how much care and hard work goes into it. Breakfast had great choices, and my banana pancake with fresh fruit was a work of art.
