Bettys Boutique Hotel

We celebrated our wedding here, and it was intimate, beautiful and just perfect. The staff went out of their way to accommodate us, and the hosts were incredible. We had an amazing room and breakfast the next morning, with top quality food and a fantastic atmosphere. The picturesque setting makes this one of our favourite places in all of Mosselbay. I’d recommend it again and again.

I liked that this family run boutique hotel is trying to preserve the old building’s history and make it feel welcoming. The staff were friendly and breakfast was decent. The Spa, the room I booked, felt smaller than the other rooms, even though the booking site lists them all as the same size. It’s outside the main building, so it felt a bit temporary. The narrow room showed some wear, had a very homely design, and looked quite different from the photos online. My stay was okay, but I think another room might be a better choice.

The hotel’s location was a real plus, on a quiet street with a beautiful ocean view and convenient parking. We spent two nights here and found the rooms cozy and comfortable. The staff were so polite, friendly and attentive, and even made us homemade apple crumble to have with tea one evening. The owner clearly cares about guests, cleanliness and maintaining a high level of service. I especially liked the unusual, beautiful interior and all its little details, which give the place a warm, charming feel. I was truly impressed and would love to return. Highly recommend!

We booked the Royal Suite, which was spacious and comfortable, and paid less for our three nights than we found anywhere else nearby. The hotel provided a nicely put together cheese board and wine, and breakfast was really nice with a good choice of options. The staff were welcoming and did everything they could to make us feel at home. The colourful, unique theme runs throughout, and the place was very clean. There was a little mould and mildew on the bathroom ceiling, though. Apart from that small improvement, we had an excellent stay at bettys boutique in mossel bay and would come back.
