Southern Cross Beach House

There’s plenty of indoor and garden space for children, and the different entertainment areas mean you can braai whatever the weather. The house was spotless, well equipped and easy to relax in while enjoying the gorgeous views. It’s in a perfect spot near the beach, with lots to do nearby and an easy walk down to the sand. We can't wait to return. Thanks for having us.

The location by the sea worked perfectly for us, with restaurants and shops nearby, a small golf course almost at the door, and four other well-known larger courses in the area. There are plenty of ways to spend your free time at the house. We used the south-facing balcony in the hot weather, and also for breakfast, when we often spotted dolphins. The Beachhouse matched the owner's description. Its practical, unfussy interior was easy to keep clean, and Luanita the Manager and Tracey with her cleaning company were there to help whenever we wanted. Eugen's house has several comfortable Louis Ghost chairs, designed by Philippe Starck, which were especially nice for long evenings playing cards.

The kitchen was a hit, with three ovens, a nice gas stove and even gear for baking. The beds were very comfortable, the linen was white, and the bath and beach towels were big. We appreciated the good wifi and the TV lounge when it rained. There was room to gather in the comfortable lounge, enjoy the outdoor braai and sea views, or find a quiet corner with a book. The house is lovely, with big rooms and lots of space. We got the sense you’re generous people. Thank you.

A great family getaway, with an amazing amount of space in the house and an indoor braai. The beach is only one road away, and there are lovely golf courses and beaches close by.
