I felt at home right away, and the staff went the extra mile to make my stay better. It's a great base for exploring Mosselbay.

Way too expensive for what you get. It wasn't clean, and the tiny kitchen was always dirty, with old equipment. Staff and their friends used the living room and small courtyard all day and night, so backpackers couldn't use them. The TV was always extremely loud, even late at night, and the hostel sits between several noisy pubs that are open seven days a week. I can't recommend this place.

Willem, the manager, was very helpful, and the location is handy for nearby amenities. The bed was really comfortable, and there was WiFi, though the TV didn't work and our room had no view. We were out all day and only used it to sleep. At R700 a night for two, it felt a bit expensive given the makeshift bathroom. The lively, almost noisy atmosphere may suit younger backpackers. Fine for a quick overnight, as long as you don't expect much beyond backpacker-style accommodation.
