The food was outstanding, and being close to a shopping centre was handy. ANEW Hotel Highveld Emalahleni also has a clean, peaceful setting that made the stay comfortable and enjoyable. A great choice for business or leisure, highly recommended.

Dinner vegetables were raw and not cooked properly, though breakfast was okay and had plenty of options. The rooms were okay too, but the aircon couldn’t be adjusted and didn’t work. The beds are low, almost like sleeping on the floor. The old furniture has just been repainted to look new.

The rooms are a bit small, but have what you need. There’s a coffee machine along with tea and coffee supplies, plus a bar fridge with drinking water. I slept comfortably, and the bathroom was nice and spacious. A really nice hotel.

When I came back from the restaurant, I saw the shower soap and coffee supplies hadn’t been replaced. I had to go to reception later that night to complain. They brought replacements, but without the compartment or a carrier.

The room was excellent, the food was great 👌 and reception was exceptional. One of my best experiences.
