The hospitality is what made this affordable, comfortable stay such a delight. Cheryl was warm, kind and attentive, welcoming me like family. Winnie, her right-hand person, is modest and a talented cook. I've been a chef for 35 years, and her rusks impressed me enough to ask for the recipe, along with a few others. Breakfast on the terrace came with jaw-dropping scenery and a delicious menu. The room was clean and cosy, and the pool was refreshing. If you're tired and want somewhere comfortable with a little extra TLC, this is a great choice.

The room was so comfortable, and the discreet, non-invasive service helped me feel safe and relaxed. The hosts were friendly and accommodating, and the whole place had a lovely, laid-back feel. Breakfast was generous and beyond expectations. When I had to leave too early for it, they gave me a takeaway breakfast that was just as generous and delicious. Thank you, Cheryl and Duncan. I hope to stay again and try the River cruise they offer. I can't recommend them highly enough.

Breakfast was excellent, and I liked having options. The breakfast area has a sea view, and the beach is only a short drive away. The owners are very friendly, the spotless rooms, clean pool and relaxing garden give the guest house a calm atmosphere. I was pleasantly surprised to find ground coffee and a French press in the room, along with homemade rusks and biscotti. I'd definitely like to visit again. One note: during load shedding, there's little to no reception in the area.
