Cannon Lodge is in a quiet, nice location, and the yard is beautifully kept. The rooms are very clean and regularly cleaned properly, and I found the cleaning ladies trustworthy. The service was excellent, and it’s such good value for money. I highly recommend staying here. I’ll be back, and thanks for the lovely hospitality.

Norma and Nokuthula are the main reason I’ve returned for a second stay. I was unexpectedly upgraded to the deluxe room, which I appreciated. It’s a lovely place and easy to reach from the main roads. Parking can get a bit full when there are lots of people, but otherwise it was amazing.

Cannon Lodge is a peaceful retreat close enough to town to explore Newcastle easily. The team made us feel welcome and went out of their way to help, with friendly smiles that made a difference. Our room was spotless and well equipped, with thoughtful touches that made it feel like home. The lodge has a lovely balance of comfort and charm, and a tranquil atmosphere. We arrived to genuine warmth and hospitality, and left feeling refreshed. We’ll definitely be back.

Breakfast was small but delicious, and the price felt like great value. The rooms were clean and the location was convenient. My only problem was that the gate security officer sometimes disappeared after hours, which made coming and going inconvenient. I brought it up and hope it gets sorted so I can visit again soon.

The staff were friendly, and the rooms were clean. It’s a lovely place, conveniently located about 1.2km from the mall. Check-in is after 13:00.
