I’d never been to Newcastle before and didn’t have transport to get there, so they arranged a shuttle to pick us up from the main rank. The service was excellent, and the staff were always ready to help with whatever we needed. The rooms were clean, the shower was hot, and it was very quiet. 10/10 for the service.

Casalinda guest house is a beautiful, pleasant place for a holiday. Everything was good, including the service, and it gave me peace of mind. I love it.

We came from Joburg for a wedding and booked a family room. My kids loved everything, and I’m really impressed with what I paid for. There was hot water and the kitchen had the basic necessities. The security staff were very friendly too. We stayed two nights, and I’d definitely tell people to come. When I visit Newcastle again, I’ll know where to sleep.

I booked at the beginning of June 2024 for the first week of July and was asked to call again on July 1 to confirm. When I called that day, the woman acted surprised and said they were fully booked. She’d refused my offer to pay a deposit, saying they didn’t do it that way and I’d pay on arrival. I found the service unbelievable: unprofessional, unreliable, rude to customers, and disorganized. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone, even if it were the last place on earth.

The rooms accommodated me, my wife, our three kids, and the driver. It was easy to find, the staff were good with customers, and security was in good condition. Everything was well organized.
