I keep coming back, and I'm always amazed by what's on the menu. Barbara and her cheerful, friendly team never let me down. This isn't your usual small-town Karoo burger place, it's world-class food pairing and unexpected flavours made from very little. I'll return whether the power's on or off 🤣.

We had a memorable six-course dinner with wine pairing, beautifully presented and served with lovely wines. Most of the ingredients came from local plants, transformed into fine dining. It was an out-of-this-world evening, and very reasonably priced.

We'd finally been able to try this restaurant for dinner, and it exceeded every expectation. Delicious signature dishes, a great team, and thanks to Barbara. You need a reservation. Highly recommended.

Barbara was a wonderful hostess and went out of her way to make sure our family had everything we needed. The unique, interesting room was comfortable, and the food was superb. Our stay at The Ibis Lounge was a highlight of the trip, and we're still talking about the meal. The town itself feels like a glimpse into another world. Highly recommended for a memorable stay and meal, and we're looking forward to returning.

My wife and I were lucky to have a Karoo food experience at the Ibis Lounge last week. The meal was far beyond what I could usually afford, yet the price made me feel as if I were getting away with something. The setting was beautiful, and the service attentive and friendly. It was truly memorable, and I hope we can come back before long and do it again.
