Seldre Guesthouse

The room was decent and neat, with air conditioning, and there’s a lovely garden and pool to use. I could park my car safely behind a gate. The mini fridge had bottled water, but no milk or creamer for the coffee and tea. We stayed for one night. Unfortunately, we waited more than 15 minutes at the entrance gate. We tried calling several times, using the intercom and contacting the WhatsApp numbers, but nobody answered.

I was impressed by the service. I called ahead to give my late-night arrival time, and they waited for me. On a cold winter night, the room was already warm with both a heater and an electric blanket. I usually have breakfast in the kitchen, but this time they brought it to my room. There’s also a Gentleman's Agreement bar where you can take drinks and pay in the morning, without anyone monitoring it. How cool is that? Thanks, Seldre. The guesthouse is beautiful and clean, in the quietest part of Nigel, with plenty of parking and a lovely garden.

I’m still shocked by the bad service we experienced on Saturday night, 9 Sep 2023. We viewed the place and thought it was beautiful, but when we went to pay, the gentleman told us to leave because he couldn’t accommodate us. He gave no explanation. I can’t believe people are still racist.

I really enjoyed my stay. The manager/owner was so lovely, and the rooms were cleaned every day and left looking neat and tidy. I didn’t expect it to be this good. Wow, this is one of the best guesthouses I’ve ever stayed in. I’d recommend it 100%.
