We had a fantastic stay at Fordoun. Our room was beautiful and unique, and the whole area is lovely. The spa was spectacular, especially the customer service. Mandisa and Lusanda gave us the most incredible massage and pedicure, and they were so friendly. I can't say enough about how great they both were. My mother also had an amazing massage from Lorraine and a lovely conversation with her. The food was delicious too, served by lovely staff. What a place! Can't wait to return! From Ross & Caitlin.

A peaceful, romantic spot with lovely nature views. It felt clean and safe, and there’s plenty to do: walks, a gym, sauna, steam room, and a warm spa pool. The two outdoor pools were cold. The restaurant could use more non-meat choices, though the food was still good. Halaal food is five minutes away.

The spa was top notch, and the whole stay felt private and welcoming. The staff were friendly and happy to help with anything. Add good food, a great location, and reasonable prices, and it’s definitely value for money. A real gem 💎.

My mom and I had a pedicure together and both came away so relaxed. The therapists were great company too, we had a good laugh. It’s been a long time since we’ve had a pedicure that good. We’ll be back.

The food was scrumptious and inventive, and the hotel itself is beautiful with friendly staff. One snag: the pool and gym are inside the Spa, which closes at 6pm and only opens at 8am. Guests who leave early and get back around sunset miss the chance to use those facilities. Please consider the hours.
