Our guests are still talking about how beautiful and well organised everything was. The setup at Mount Shekinah Country Hotel was breathtaking, the service impeccable, and the atmosphere just what we had hoped for, and more. We held our umembeso and wedding there on 25 October 2025, and the day felt like a dream, elegant, intimate, and smoothly handled from beginning to end. Saneh guided us from our first planning conversation through the months of preparation and stayed beside us on the day, making sure everything flowed. Her warmth, professionalism, and eye for detail made planning feel effortless. Avela was there throughout too, offering such kind, calm support, and we deeply appreciate her. Every person on the Mount Shekinah team we met was friendly, helpful, and clearly cared about making the day memorable. Thank you to all of you. We will cherish this day forever and highly recommend the venue to couples looking for care and quality in everything they do. Thank you for making our special day magical. Mrs and Mr Ntinga 💍✨

What stayed with me most were the private cascades of pools right outside the door, along with the lovely mountain view. Our room was large, clean, and nicely decorated, and everything worked, even the fridge. The staff were friendly, the food was delicious, and the service was kind.

Our morning prayers in the garden were a lovely part of the 3-day Garden Within retreat. The family house was cozy, and the whole experience was wonderful. The food was excellent too. Well done to Avela and her team, and thanks to Mount Shekanah management for giving us the chance to enjoy such a wholesome retreat. It was amazing!

The view was amazing and the rooms were great, so I'd still recommend the hotel. We stayed for two nights, but WiFi worked for maybe 30 minutes altogether, and nobody tried to sort it out. Otherwise, it was a great place to stay.
