We like to stop here when travelling between Limpopo and KZN, both on the way there and back. The hosts, Gill and David, give you a warm welcome, and the cottage is comfortable and cozy, with electric heaters and blankets.

Dave and Gill made us feel so welcome, and we had a wonderful evening with them. Seeing their beautiful art and ceramics collection in such a lovely home was a real treat. It’s a perfect halfway stop to Gauteng.

A relaxing, homely feel, lovely hosts and incredible coffee, all in a beautiful setting. You can see Platberg, and the location is close to great places like Golden Gate National Park and Sterkfontein dam, making it a fantastic base for a holiday.

The host was so welcoming, and the space felt warm, beautiful and cozy. The bed and pillows were the best we’ve ever experienced. We’ll definitely be back.
