ArtKaroo Stay

We had everything we needed for a perfect holiday at Art Karoo Stay, and we’ll definitely be back. The art gallery was really interesting, and Janet was such a gracious host. We loved the cottage, the huge garden, the large pool, and the friendly dogs. It’s in a lovely neighbourhood, very peaceful but still centrally located. George, Pam & Josh Nicholson

We had such a lovely time here and really enjoyed our stay. Thanks, Janet :) We’ll definitely come back.

The host was very friendly and helpful, and the cottage is private, with a pool. One thing to keep in mind is that there are four dogs on the property, so it may not suit you if you don’t like dogs. I mentioned adding a microwave oven, and the host took the suggestion on board. It’s an old-fashioned cottage with classic and antique furniture that adds to its charm. The leafy Oudtshoorn suburb is a good location, just a few minutes’ drive from shopping malls and restaurants. If peace and quiet are what you’re after, this place would be ideal. All in all, a great place. Percy Martin.

I stayed for three days and never saw or spoke to the manager. Another guest handed me the keys and showed me the apartment. The old single bed was horrible, and there was no TV. Wi-Fi wasn't available during load shedding. It has a lot of potential, but there are much better places for less money.
